Top 5 Q&A from our UK Customers
Here’s the top 5 questions we often get asked, answered by our Managing Director, Trent Scanlen
1. What’s the difference between your product and Turmeric from the Supermarket?
This is our most asked question on social media and our website, and it’s a good one! Turmeric is the plant that Curcumin is derived from. Estimations vary, but our lab measures that Curcumin is approximately 2% of Turmeric. That means to get our daily dose of 100mg of Curcuminoids, you have to eat 20000mg or 20 grams. That’s a big chunk, but the next issue is that your body will struggle to break it down and get the Curcuminoids into your bloodstream to get the benefits- that’s where the water solubility comes into play.
2. How do you take your supplements?
3. Why is it more expensive that supermarket capsules?
We refuse to use the cheaper extraction techniques with petrochemicals or add cheap fillers and stabilisers.
Everything in the bottle is from plants. We think the extra production costs are worth it. We even spend triple on the bottle from UV blocker pioneers Miron to ensure we prevent oxidation (light exposure that dramatically reduces the effectiveness of Vitamins and supplements)
4. Will your products interfere with my other medications?
We are not aware of any contraindications to taking any of our products and all ingredients are widely acknowledged to be safe. And as far as we know, there are no known medication interactions.
Some people confuse “Curcumin” with “Coumarin” which is related to the blood thinner, Warfarin (trade name, Coumadin). To be clear, Curcumin has no known effect on blood clotting.
5. Do you have a recurring order to ensure I don’t run out!
Yes, we have just added this due to popular demand. Our products are gaining huge momentum, but our clean manufacturing takes time and we won’t cut corners.
There is a chance we will run out of stocks when we have surges, but all recurring orders will be guaranteed in their own inventory stockpile.
